ITFMA — the International Tamil Film & Music Association — is a global media platform created to spotlight Tamil film and music beyond borders. From independent filmmakers and diaspora musicians to cultural movements and emerging creative voices, ITFMA exists to document, celebrate, and connect the global Tamil creative community.

We publish reviews, essays, interviews, and cultural writing. We profile filmmakers and musicians whose work would otherwise be invisible to the mainstream industry. We curate playlists, spotlight short films, and pay close attention to the work being made in Toronto, London, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Paris, and Jaffna — and everywhere a Tamil creator is at work.

We are independent. We are global. We are Tamil — in the broadest, most plural sense of that word.
